Pallets and Gaylords Piling Up?

We buy surplus pallets, gaylord bulk bins, IBC totes, and packaging material. You describe what you have, we make an offer, we pick it up. Same-week scheduling throughout the Sacramento region.

Our Clients

Who We Work With

Any facility sitting on packaging it can't move fast enough. If pallets are stacking up and gaylords are taking dock space, we can fix that.

Warehouses & 3PLs

Surplus pallets stacking up between inbound and outbound cycles, or gaylords piling up after bulk shipments. We buy what you can't move fast enough.

Manufacturers & Distributors

End-of-run packaging you no longer need — odd-sized gaylords, non-standard pallets, discontinued specs. We assess and offer on any volume.

Retailers & E-Commerce Fulfillment

High-volume facilities that accumulate pallets and bulk bins faster than they go back into rotation. We schedule recurring pickups to keep the dock clear.

Food & Beverage Facilities

ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets from international shipments, corrugate gaylords from inbound product runs. We sort and buy what's in usable condition.

Construction & Demo

Pallets left over from large material deliveries — roofing, tile, brick, lumber. We pick them up from the job site so you're not paying to haul empties.

Facility Closures & Relocations

Entire inventories of packaging material that don't make sense to move. We assess the whole lot and buy it as part of a broader cleanout.

No Guesswork

How It Works

Straightforward process from first call to payment. You don't move anything — we come to you.

01

Tell Us What You Have

Call or email with a rough count and description — pallet type, gaylord size, condition, and approximate quantity. Photos are helpful but not required.

02

We Give You a Range

For standard material in known condition we can usually quote a range on the phone. For large or mixed lots we may schedule a quick on-site look — no charge.

03

You Get an Offer

A straight number based on material type, condition, and current secondary market rates. The offer we make is the check you get — no adjustment when we show up.

04

We Schedule Pickup

We send the right truck and equipment. You don't move anything. One visit handles the lot, and we work around your dock availability.

05

You Get Paid

Payment on pickup. For recurring accounts, we can set a schedule so the dock stays clear without a phone call every time.

We price before we show up. You get a number on the phone based on what you describe. If something doesn't match when we arrive — condition, quantity, type — we tell you before loading anything. The decision is always yours.

Transparent Valuation

How We Price Pallets & Gaylords

Pricing depends on type, condition, and what the secondary market will bear at the time of pickup. Here's how we think about each category.

Wood Pallets

GMA standard 48×40 pallets in good repair are the most liquid. Heat-treated (ISPM-15) pallets have additional export value. Broken pallets pay at wood commodity rates. We'll tell you the breakdown before we show up.

Plastic Pallets

Rackable and nestable plastic pallets in good condition pay well on the secondary market. Light-duty or damaged plastic pallets may go to commodity recycling — still a check, just a different rate.

Gaylords & Bulk Bins

One-trip and lightly used double- or triple-wall gaylords have strong resale value. Heavily used or weakened gaylords go to corrugated commodity recovery. Condition drives the rate — send photos for a faster quote.

IBC Totes & Drums

Food-grade totes and drums command the best prices. Industrial-use containers are valued based on previous contents, condition, and cleanout status. Describe previous contents when you call — it determines what we can accept and how we price it.

High-Volume Accounts

Recurring Pickup for Busy Docks

Warehouses and distribution centers that accumulate pallets or gaylords on a predictable cycle shouldn't have to make a phone call every time. We set up recurring accounts with a fixed schedule — we show up, you get paid, the dock stays clear.

For recurring accounts, we'll agree on pricing terms upfront so there's no negotiation at every pickup. If market rates shift significantly, we revisit together — no surprises.

  • Fixed schedule — weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on your accumulation rate
  • Agreed pricing terms upfront — no renegotiation at every visit
  • We work around your dock windows and inbound/outbound schedule
  • Single point of contact — call or email your account rep directly
  • Volume flexibility — we adjust frequency when your inbound volume changes

Why Haynes Industrial

Turn Excess Packaging Into a Check

Surplus pallets and gaylords aren't valuable enough to manage like an auction, but too valuable to just pay someone to haul away. We buy them, pick them up, and handle the resale. You do nothing after the call.

  • Same-week scheduling throughout the Sacramento region
  • Recurring pickup accounts for high-volume docks — no phone call needed every time
  • We assess mixed lots together and give you one number for the whole thing
  • Straight pricing: what we quote on the phone is the check at pickup
  • Disposition records for every transaction — your accounting has what it needs

Straight Answers

Common Questions

What condition do pallets need to be in?

For resale value, pallets should be structurally sound — no broken deckboards, missing blocks, or protruding nails that make them unusable. Pallets with minor repairs or cosmetic damage still have value. We also accept broken pallets for wood commodity recovery — they just pay less.

Do you buy gaylords that have been used?

Yes. One-trip gaylords and lightly used boxes in intact condition are the most valuable. Multi-trip gaylords with wear still have secondary market value depending on wall strength and structural integrity. Send photos if you're not sure — we'll tell you what we can do.

What's the minimum quantity?

We work with partial truckloads when the material has enough value to make the trip worthwhile — typically 50+ pallets or a comparable volume of gaylords. Smaller quantities may not justify a pickup on their own, but they often do as part of a broader cleanout. Call us and we'll be straight with you.

Can you set up a recurring pickup?

Yes. For facilities that accumulate pallets or gaylords on a regular cycle, we set up a recurring schedule so your dock stays clear without a phone call every time. Let us know your approximate volume and frequency and we'll work out a schedule.

Do you accept IBC totes and drums that held chemicals?

Depends on the contents. Food-grade totes and drums that held non-hazardous materials are typically fine. Totes and drums that held hazardous chemicals require documentation and may not be accepted for resale — call us and describe the previous contents. We'll tell you exactly what we can do.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on pallet or gaylord type, condition, and current secondary market rates. Plastic pallets pay differently than wood. Heat-treated GMA pallets pay differently than broken wood. We give you a rate per unit or a lump offer for the lot — your choice for how to structure it.
